Installing the software

Run the Diet Pro installation program by double-clicking on
DPSetup20.exe. |

If you can't remember where you saved the setup file, you
can search for the file by clicking Start, pointing to
Search, and clicking Files and Folders. Search
for the file name DPSetup20.exe. |

Once you have found the setup file, run the program and follow
the instructions on the screen. |

Diet Pro's system requirements are as follows: |

Windows 95/98/2000/NT/Me/XP. Diet Pro will not run on Macintosh
computers (unless you have Virtual PC installed). |

90 MB free hard disk space. |

These components are normally installed as part of your operating
system. If these components are missing, the Diet Pro installation

Upgrading your software
|

Starting with Diet Pro 2005 you will need a version upgrade license
to upgrade to the latest version of the software. The upgrade from
Diet Pro 2003 to Diet Pro 2005 is free. Free upgrade licenses will
be e-mailed to Diet Pro 2003 users on Tuesday, April 5, 2005. If
you did not receive your free license, please post a message on
the Diet
Pro Licensing Forum. We will get your upgrade license to you
right away.
To upgrade your software, just download and install Diet Pro 2005
by clicking "Download Now" above. If you don't have a
high-speed Internet connection, your can order the Demo
CD ($3.50 shipping and handling to U.S. addresses) and install
the software from the CD.
It is recommended
that you backup your database prior to upgrading to the new version.
To backup your database, select Backup from the File
menu.
There will be a nominal fee to upgrade to future versions of Diet
Pro.

of hardware running a variety of operating systems. If, however,
you experience difficulty installing your software, we want to know
and we want to help.
Answers to the most common installation questions are available
on the Diet Pro Support Forum.
If you can't find what you are looking for, just post your question
and we will respond promptly. Typical response time is less than
six hours.

Uninstalling Diet Pro

Click Start, point to Settings, and click Control
Panel. |

Double-click the Add/Remove Programs icon. |

Click Diet Pro to remove the software. |
