Diet data entry tutorial

Profile goal data is diet data that originates outside of Diet Pro (e.g. weight, resting heart rate, waist measurement, etc.) that you need to enter manually.

This tutorial will lead you through the process of entering diet goal data. By following these steps carefully you will become familiar with the major features of the goal data interface.

  1. Select the Diet Navigator tab.
  2. How?

  3. Click the expand icon next to the Home icon to expand it.
  4. Click the expand icon next to the desired profile to expand it.
  5. Tip  You can use the profile that you used in the New Profile Tutorial, if you like.

  6. Select the goal data icon .
  7. On the Action menu, click Edit Goal Data.

    Right-click on the navigator treeview and then, on the popup menu, click Edit Goal Data.

    Click Edit on the task toolbar.

  9. Click the Goal Data tab.
  10. Select today's date using the date control .
  11. Tip  You also click Previous Day and Next Day to change the selected date.

  12. Enter your weight in the Weight box. Enter your body fat percent in the Body Fat % box (if you don't know your body fat percent, you can guess or enter a value such as 30).
  13. Tip  The goals that you selected when you created your profile will be highlighted.

  14. Click Previous Day to change the selected date to yesterday.
  15. Enter different values in the Weight and Body Fat % boxes.
  16. Repeat steps 9 and 10 a couple more times so that you have weight and body fat percent values for five or six days.
  17. Click OK.
  18. Tip  You can view this diet data in a report by continuing with the Report Tutorial.
