- Select the Cooking Navigator tab.
How?
- Select the cookbook or chapter that contains the duplicate menus.
- In the Task pane, select
the menus you want to check for duplicates.
Tip You can select any number of menus. Diet
Pro will search the entire database for menus whose names match the selected
menus.
- Right-click on any of the selected rows.
- On the popup menu, point to Actions and then click Eliminate Duplicates.

- If a duplicate is found, the selected menu will appear as Menu 1
and the duplicate menu will appear as Menu 2.
Tip Click Preview to view either of
the two menus.
- Click Merge to merge the two menus into a single menu or click Delete
Menu 1 or Delete Menu 2 to delete either of the two menus.
Tip Use the menu element checkboxes to control
how menus are merged. For example, when merging, you could use the menu name
and comments from Menu 1, but the menu items from Menu 2.
- Click Find Next to locate the next duplicate menu.
- Click Close to close the Eliminate Duplicate Menus window.
